Simple nmda channel, adapted from neuron examples ampa.mod, destexhe model but with different binding and unbinding rates and magnesium block. (destexhe et al 1994a,b) modeling study, uses model and kinetics from previous studies (davison et al. 2000, 2001; bhalla & bower 1993). Kinetics were originally based on data from turtle mitral cells (bhalla & bower), but have since been used in the context of the mammalian olfactory bulb.
