Decay of internal calcium concentration due to calcium currents and pump. Published in destexhe et al. Biophys j. (1993). Modified by m hines and r scorcioni to allow variable time step and an initialization error, 2002. Modified in 2012, replaced cnexp with derivimplicit. No reference is given in paper, but this appears to be derived from model in destexhe et al. (1994), model no. 3670, with modified parameter values. Modeling study that takes kv and na kinetics from mainen et al. (1995), and introduces four neuron morphologies from cortex. No animal models are mentioned here and nothing related to where the morphologies came from, so it is considered generic.
