- Authors: M Nolan, S Chen, J Held
- Comments: Hcn2 current. Adapted from model of thalamocortical relay cell in wang et al. (2002), model no. 19176, with modified parameter values (lines 20-40), removal of constant (1e-3) in kinetics, and addition of conditional statement for calculating alpha and beta values depending on whether v is greater than -200 or not. Note that mod files here resemble those of maurice et al. (2004), model no. 98005, but this is not mentioned in paper. Animal model is from experiments in paper. Some channel kinetics were fit to data in paper, or constrained by previous studies of rat globus pallidus neurons (baranauskas et al. 1999, 2003) and others (see paper). This channel was adapted from previous model of thalamocortical relay neuron (wang et al. 2002).
- Runtime: 16.994
- Temperature: Model has temperature dependence, with q10a set to 1.5 and q10v set to 4, default kinetics at 22 deg C.. Recordings in paper were done at 22 deg C, and simulations at 23 deg C.
