Metadata generic
- Authors: Z Mainen
- Comments: Note: this mod file's name makes it seem like a kca channel, yet the text inside says that it is an m-type channel. Potassium channel, h-h style kinetics based on i-m (muscarinic k channel). Slow, noninactivating. Written by z mainen 1995. Not used in main model implementation here [found in not-currently-used folder]. This is a modeling study, and the animal model is considered to be rat. The authors compare the model to experimental results mostly in rats (e.g. Magee 1998, spruston et al. 1995) and the morphology used is also from rat (2 months old, cannon et al. 1998, n123). Channel kinetics come from various sources.
- Runtime: 6.727
- Temperature: Model has temperature dependence, with q10 set to 2.3 and original kinetics at 23 deg C. SImulations were done at 34 deg C.
