(1999) channel by brannon and poirazi to account for hoffman et al. (1997) distal region kinetics. Used only in locations > 100 microns from the soma. This version was modified in 2003 to work with code by c gold, and updated by m markaki (unspecified changes). This is a modeling study, and takes channel kinetics from a previous ca1 model (poirazi et al. 2003). The animal model here reflects the neural morphology used in this study (bergstrom et al. 2008).
